Fine, we have all heard that myth - that "nice guys" do not make it and the 'bad boys" attract women - but I don't think it is essentially true.

At least I don't believe it has anything to do with being a bad boy versus a nice guy.

I feel there are other personality dimensions involved that maybe bad boys and nice guys have that are the defining qualities of attraction.

Bad boys usually are less shy, but at the same time they are more confident in general than nice guys. I believe that it would be these characters that are attracting a woman not the fact that a guy is bad.

I personally do not use the "bad boy" method when attracting women, I am always a perfect gentleman. However, I am not an easy guy to hook and women can tell that immediately when talking to me. I am a little unapproachable, I don't compliment women when I initially meet them or tell them how beautiful they are, and most women don't have a hint as to whether I am keen on them or just being polite.

That is what sets me away from a "nice guy". Women see me as a perfect gentleman but haven't a clue if I love them or not. Women -especially very attractive women - like that. They are sick and tired of meeting men who flatter them.

Girls like guys who are interesting and unique. Attractive girls don't find gents who tell them how beautiful they are to be exceptional. But a guy who has an entertaining conversation with them without saying a word about their beauty verbally or non-verbally - now that is both appealing and unique to a beautiful girl.

Also keep in mind that women have different characters. And what one thinks is interesting and unique varies from personality to personality. A not-so-good-looking woman may find it totally interesting and unique to be told how attractive she is by a man. A woman who grows up in a culture of perfect gentlemen, might very well choose a guy who talks a little awful and naughty to be interesting and unique. A woman who knows nothing but arrogant and ignorant men, would find a gentlemen to be a rare interesting and unique find.

You see regardless of what you are like there is somebody for you. But you have to define who that someone would be and then try to build up a scenario on how you would meet women like that. So irrespective of if you are a bad guy or a nice guy, put yourself in a position where you are interesting and different to the women you meet and you will be successful.

One of the toughest things to learn in life is that no matter what you are like there is definitely someone who is perfectly well-matched to you. Even if you are unexciting there are women who are absolutely compatible with that. Not every one wants to meet and hook up with the life of the gathering.

The problem is people who don't accept themselves for who they are, try and act differently and they are not being true, so they don't attract anyone. Now if you just admit yourself for who you are and act the way you basically are, you will notice that there are people who will choose you for who you are. So don't worry about whether you are boring or not, just be yourself. Sooner or later you will get a girl who will accept you for who you are.
